AEON Engineering Limited is a Mine Safety Department (MSD) accredited mining consultancy and technical service provider to the mineral resources and construction industries. The company has been in operation since 2020 but became incorporated as a private company in 2022.

AEON employs skilled professional engineers with specialised experience in the field of technical services such as rock engineering, numerical modelling, mine seismology, controlled blasting, drill and blast, and construction.

AEON understands the risks associated with using external consultants; therefore quality of outcomes is paramount, people and experience matter.

Securing a service contract with AEON, provides the client with a source of vast geotechnical knowledge and experience. We can assist clients by making our skilled personnel available at those crucial times when a higher level of input is required.

Meticulous and experienced Mining Engineer and business manager with over 10 years Mining and explosives first-hand experience in hard rock Mining (Copper, Gold, Manganese, Cobalt, Nickel and Iron ore) across the SADC region, who leads with integrity and passion as core values. Mr E. Simataa possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, a Master of Science in Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with Strategy. His specializations include technical, controlled blasting and implosion of buildings using explosives.

Mr. Ackim Mbao

Co Founder

A graduate Mining Ventilation Engineer, Mr Mbao is an exceptional resource manager who possess an additional water engineering qualification. He has massive experience in construction, explosives as well as project management.
